Participation

Residents are an integral part of the Ohio Creek Watershed Project. Here’s how you can participate.

The Ohio Creek Watershed Project encourages citizens of the neighboring communities to get involved in the project, and offers employment opportunities that are prioritized for residents of Norfolk. Please visit our project kiosks for job postings and volunteer opportunities.

Kiosks are located at the intersections of Kimball Loop/Kimball Terrace and Ballentine Avenue/Earlscourt Avenue. Construction management personnel will be present at Chesterfield Heights and Grandy Village community meetings until the end of the project.

The City of Norfolk hosts monthly civic league meetings for Chesterfield Heights residents to discuss the project. Currently, these meetings are held virtually via WebEx. The Chesterfield Heights Civic League Meeting occurs on the fourth Monday of each month from 6-7 p.m. For more information as to how to join the meetings, please contact the Office of Resilience at ohiocreek@norfolk.gov
